Unda Recording - Our People

He's responsible for the inception of the big project called UNDA Recording – a proper facility built for sonic experience. Horia is also a live sound engineer for some of the most acclaimed Romanian acts. Sometimes he is recording/mixing in the studio or repairs/calibrates professional audio gear in our Techshop. Some other time he builds some more studio space, or even hunting for some more gear – vintage, lots of character, rare and good value. He dreams bigger, he knows better and he scores faster.

Back to back with Horia, Radu established the foundation of the studio. He is responsible for collecting most of the equipment list. He researched and tried the hell of every piece of studio workhorse gear. This guy ordered those monitors before Mr. Barefoot was famous! Spending most of his time teaching sound mixing at SAE in Geneva, he occasionally mixes in the studio with a skillful approach - fast and accurate, balanced and big sounding.

In his mixes, Dan is constantly looking for that perfect blend between software and hardware. If you’re looking for a true perfectionist and a creative spirit, this is your man! Then you see him on top of a drum set, sweet-moving on guitars and grooving the hell out of a bass guitar – go wonder at such bravery!

Based on his broad experience in musical production and composition, Alexei combines with finesse his sound design expertise with captivating songwriting.

This young guy’s area is quite ambitious - electronic productions, alternative rock, world music, original scores for theatre and film, orchestral arrangements for some of the biggest pop acts in Romania… and overall a funny guy!

Our studio fosters some young talents too! Robert is one ambitious producer and composer, developing his skills in recording and mixing audio. Being also a performer in his project Next Ex, his studio work resume is growing so fast we are proud to have such an aspiring artist in our team!

When he is not squeezing any and every possible sound from a guitar or bass, Mihai aka Miche is an outstanding voice-over artist!

His collaboration with Unda Recording brings us into heavyweight class when we’re dealing with advertising, broadcast and media publishing. For years now, he is the official voice of some giant companies. Romanian, English, French – in all accents available!
